About Us

We are a group of Minnesota State Patrol Troopers who are committed to the health and welfare of children. Bears That Care was formed in 1987 out of the State Patrol's West Metro District. It is a privilege to be a State Trooper and we want to use our position to help bring some hope and cheer to children around the State of Minnesota, especially those children that are in our local hospitals. We want to let the children know we do more than write citations and crashes. This lets us show the kids the human side of law enforcement.
